Do you provide Alcohol?

All beverages (including soft drinks) are supplied by you. This allows for you to include the alcohol choices of your liking and suitable to your own budget requirements.

Once you have confirmed your booking, we can assist with recommendations for how much alcohol to purchase for your number of guests.

Where are you based?

We are located in the Dandenong foothills, however, we are happy to travel!  For travel over 1 hour, we charge an additional fee of $125 per hour.

For travel times over 2.5 hours, we may charge an accommodation fee of up to $300 dependent on location.

How do we keep our drinks cold?

We ask that all drinks are chilled for our arrival. If you have over 50 guests and no refrigeration is available onsite, we highly recommend a cool room.

For under 50 guests, you may like to pre-chill your drinks in eskies, tubs or fridges onsite.

We provide ice for use in the bar only (not to chill drinks).

What kind of glassware is provided?

We have wine glasses, flutes, short and tall tumblers. We also have a limited number of stemless wine glasses for cocktails, your favorite spritz or red wine.

Beers & cider are to be served in bottles or cans.

What kind of beverages can you serve?

We of course serve all the regulars such as wine, bubbles, beer, cider, soft drinks, tea & coffee. We can also include service of cocktails however, depending on number of guests and length of cocktail service, we may recommend at least one additional staff member as the service can more labor intensive.

Do you provide table or roaming service?

Bar service is generally from the caravan only.  If you require roaming or table service, additional staff will be required. We do still take care of all the clearing of empty bottles and glasses around the venue as part of the standard service.

We do not clear or remove food/catering rubbish such as plates, napkins, skewers and take-away boxes - this needs to be arranged through your caterer.

Do I require a permit or licence to serve alcohol?

If your event is on private property, and you are the supplier of the alcohol, a liquor licence is not required.  Events held on council property or public land will require permission and/or permits from your local shire. Any licenses or permits required for your event must be obtained by you.

What happens when its time for Francesca to leave?

We will clean and clear the venue/space and leave all left-over drinks in the cool room or nominated location.
If the party is kicking on, we can set-up a 'help-yourself' bar station for you. We ask that you please provide us with a table, tubs and/or eskies so we can transfer the left over drinks & ice from the bar into these and also a bottle opener if required.

You may also need to supply disposable cups or additional glassware for the wine or spirit drinks.

What do we do with recycling &rubbish?

Unfortunately we are unable to take this with us and we ask that your nominate an area for us to leave all rubbish and recycling at the end of service.  If you have bins, bags or even trailer for us to leave this in, that would be fabulous.  We do re-use beer and wine boxes where possible to keep the rubbish manageable and tidy. We will have one bin for recycling at the caravan however, if you have a couple of extra around the venue for catering rubbish & recycling that would be great.

Does Francesca require access to electricity?

No - we are solar powered for all fixed lighting - yay!  We will require access to power if our power points are required for any appliances.

Does Francesca require access to water?

Yes, we will require access to drinking water which we serve in dispensers from the front of the caravan with ice & fruit.

If water is not available onsite, we can supply a nominal amount if appropriate notice is provided.
